She always wanted a sister!

Gracie has always said she wanted a sister and poor Eli got to fill in yesterday! He is such a good sport!

Within One Week complete!

Here is the finished product! Only 10 months later and I'm done! I think I may mess with the pictures a little. Not sure if I love the one's that I put in there, but as you all know me, that will never happen! LOL

Within One Week

My cousin Becky is hosting another Within One Week event! You can get something done around the house and possibly earn a free coffee and of course the satisfaction of getting something accomplished. I'm joining a little late, but this is something that I have wanted to get done since last Christmas. It's small and really doesn't take much work but for some reason I just keep putting it off! I got this great picture frame at our last Christmas gift exchange and have never put pictures in it. It has become a permanent fixture on my living room floor propped up against the wall, so I really want to get it filled and hung by Wednesday! Go to Becky's blog and look at the other participants to cheer them on or to join yourself!

What a great party!

On Saturday evening we had a big BBQ to celebrate Eli's 1st birthday and Mike's Grandpa's 83rd birthday! We had so much fun with our friends and family! Thank you all so much for sharing this day with us!

Here he is in his ball tent! He loves this thing, one day later and I am already tripping all over balls laying all over the house! :)

We knew he was really to little for a pinata but thought the the older kids would have a lot of fun! He really liked it though he thought he was pretty cool taking a swing at the it!

I wish these pictures were in order, but oh well. Here he is after polishing off pretty much the entire little cake that was made for him!

Today my baby boy is 1 year old. One short year ago the little blessing entered our lives at 10:18 am weighing 9#12oz! He has been such a blessing to us! We love you so much Eli! Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

1st Day of Kindergarten!

Today was the big day for Cole! His first day of Kindergarten! He was excited and nervous both! It was a good thing that the teacher lets them into the classroom and the parents stay outside because I think if I were to go in with him I may not have come out! LOL He had such a nervous look on his face once he was inside that door, but then it shut and I guess he made it okay because he was smiling when he came out two hours later! What a big kid he is becoming! Of course all he has been talking about all day is going hunting with his Dad tonight! Mike told him if he did a good job going to school he would take him out to "shoot" coyotes! So he is very very excited for Dad to get home today!

Today was the first day of 2nd grade for Gracie! She was excited, nervous and full of anticipation! Wondering who was going to be in her class and what to wear was her biggest concern of course! I can't believe she is growing up so fast! Cole and Joey had to look in at her after she went in! Cole got to go in and meet his Kindergarten teacher and see his classroom! He was nervous, but did okay. The first day might be a little hard for him! His friend Fiona is in the class with him though so I think it will make things much easier!
