Baby shower and cousin Sage!

This weekend we had a baby shower for my sister Emily. My cousin Mia got to come down with her daughter Sage. Sage is 11 months old and about the size of Eli! She was five weeks premature, so she is pretty petite! We had such a great time. All the kids adored her and it was so fun to watch someone the same size as my two month old do things that 11 month old babies do! The shower was a huge success! Emily got lots of great things for my niece/nephew, and niece/nephew on the way! She is having twins, so she is needing double of everything! We are so so so excited for the babies to arrive! She is due January 24th, but her Dr. won't let her go past 38 weeks, which is the 10th of January. Em is not sleeping well at all! So please be praying for her! Here are a few pictures of the kids and Sage and Em's shower!

The diaper cake was made by Mia! I think she should start selling them!

I hope you can get some sleep Sis! Oh and I just have to throw this out there for all you Husky fans!!! GO COUGS!!! YEE HAW!!!

2 Months Old

I can't believe it, but Eli is 10 weeks old! Yesterday he had his 2 month check up with the doctor and here are his stats! 14#15 1/2 oz, and 25 inches long. All my kids have been large, but he is large and in charge! Bigger than Gracie at this age by two inches and almost three pounds! Bigger than Joey by one inch and a pound, and bigger than Coley by...well he is a lot bigger than Cole was! He is a happy smiley baby! We sure are blessed!

How many pictures does it take?

I thought I would quickly get a picture of all four of my kids this morning so I could update my blog, well, you wouldn't think it would take so many to get a good shot, but I think I snapped about twenty pictures until I finally gave up. Either someone wasn't looking or someone's eyes were closed. They gave me a good laugh though!
And the winner is...

Seabrook

Pappy taking Joey for a bike ride!
Cole was so funny, the bikes were too big for him, but that didn't' stop him! In fact he couldn't stop unless he crashed because he couldn't reach the ground! My Dad ended up chasing him down the road and grabbing him after he went through a stop sign one time. We were all laughing so hard, Dad was just breathing hard!

Cole found lots of shells, he even found a sand dollar all on his own!

Eli enjoyed his bath in the bathroom sink!

Cole, Haylee, Eli, Maddie and Gracie

There were the coolest old hallowed out trees the kids kept saying that fairies lived in there!

Taking a walk down to the beach!
This was the awesome house we stayed in!

Gracie loved it out in the rain!

We went to Seabrook with my family this past weekend. We had so much fun. Although it was very windy, and rainy most of the time that didn't stop us from enjoying the beach! The kids had a blast and are here to tell you what their favorite part of the beach was! Eli was such a trooper. We were in the car for 7 hours on the way there and not one time did he fuss. Same on the way home! What a great baby he is! The house was beautiful (thanks Mom and Dad) and all of the kids (Ten in total) had so much fun. Seabrook is a great little family community that they are currently building where they are styling it after the 1940's. There are bikes there that visitors are free to ride whenever they want to.

Halloween Party

Meet Elijah the pumpkin, Gracie as Ariel (Little Mermaid), Cole as Captain Jack Sparrow, and Joey as Spider man! We had the funnest Halloween party at our house last night. The kids ate pizza, went trick-or-treating and then came back to a spooky house with a witch where they bobbed for apples, pinned the stem on the pumpkin, went pumpkin bowling, and felt the ooey gooey brains, fingers, eyeballs and liver of a dead body: ) They ate doughnuts, caramel apples, candy and more candy and drank cider! It was a blast!
Even Nana got in on the costume wearing! I don't know how we are going to beat this next year!
