Today was Gracie's first day of 1st Grade! She was very very very excited to start, but had some morning jitters as the drama queen said she was scared and wouldn't know anyone la la la.... I told her that I bet she would come home and say she loved it, which is exactly what she did! "I love first grade Mom and I can't wait until tomorrow!" She was thrilled to see some of her old classmates and of course the fact that she gets to eat lunch at school was new and very exciting to her! For me it was a little bittersweet! 1st grade is a big change, not only does she get to eat at school, she is there all day! We missed her around the house today! So here are some pictures of the big day! Oh and she also got her hair cut the other day, which is soooo cute! She looks like such a big girl now! Tomorrow is Cole's 1st day of Pre-school, so I will update again soon! I'm hoping to get everyone in school and used to the routine before baby #4 makes his/her arrival! To end the night right, we started Junie B. 1st Grader at Last by Barbara Park! Gracie has been waiting to read that one, but I though it was an appropriate night to start!

Gracie's teacher was just awarded Teacher of the Year by the Kennewick school district yesterday! That made Mike and I feel good about things!

She is getting big!! Too big!! I was cracking up looking at the picture of her in line with the teacher. She stands like a foot taller then everyone else in line, especially that little girl in front lol.
If you don't have that baby soon, I'm going to go crazy. I know you want that kid to be inside your belly forever, but come on Katy, be gracious to the rest of us who want to meet him/her.
Alright Gracie! I just knew you'd be the hit of first grade...I bet everyone wants to be your friend! We're proud of you!
What great pictures.. Gracie is quite a bit taller than some in her class huh? She is so darn cute. How exciting about her teacher. That is wonderful
