When they play the song "Cotton eyed Joe" the boys all rip their shirts off and twirl them around over their heads. Well Mike told Cole about this before we got there and he was soooo excited! It was hilarious! Gracie and Cole were up getting Winger's (the mascot) autograph when the song started playing, but I turned around to look in the direction they had headed in and there's Cole with a HUGE smile on his face swinging his shirt around! Then I was "chosen" to run in a hamster ball during one of the breaks. I was laughing so hard I could hardly see, and of course as you can see in the video could not stay on my feet! I got a little help from Winger and still lost! Oh well, we were playing for the big prize of a T-shirt which we both won, so no pressure right! :) I also got a pack of player trading cards and some other goodies for the kids! We had a blast and will definitely be doing this again!

Pixie Dust?!
Graice lost another tooth last night. She was so excited! She left a note for the Tooth Fairy that asked her to leave Gracie some pixie dust if she could! So guess what the Tooth Fairy did and Gracie was sooooo excited! She said "Mom, if I save up enough of this from the next few teeth I lose, maybe I could get enough so I could fly!" Happy New Year!
Cole was very intent on figuring out how to clean those clams! He was a great helper. Gracie learned how to run the vacuum sealer and was a great help doing that. I think it took us about two hours to clean the 104 clams we got the second night.
This toy entertained everyone for hours! What a bunch of goofs!
We got to spend a lot of time at the park on Saturday because it didn't rain much that day. The kids roasted marshmallows over the huge fire pit and played on the toys! A little hot tub time was great when we got back!
Aunt Mary brought some noise makers for New Years Eve, we decided to do them over the fire pit and it was hilarious to watch the kids faces as they tried to get them to go off! One family brought some great fireworks and shared them with us at the park on Saturday night! They were amazing!!
The beach was so much fun! Even Eli got down and played, he loved it! The kids found all sorts of shells! Cole kept scaring us being the dare devil that he is by getting close to the tide and then running away fast before it got him!Thursday, December 31, 2009
Flurry of Christmas fun!
Joey had a lot of fun opening presents! He is following in his Uncle Joe's footsteps and wants to be a "fighter fighter" when he grows up, so Santa got him all set up! He got a shaving kit and loves it! I don't think he has quite figured out yet though that you don't shave your nose!
Gracie was very excited to get an outfit for her American Girl Doll and a matching one for her! Thanks Grandma and Papa! They look so cute! She got tons of stuff and I'm still trying to get her to put it all away!
Cole was soooo excited when he opened up his "real bow and arrow" from Santa! He is anxious to go hunting with his Dad this next fall! "Don't shoot your eye out kid!"
Eli was happy with paper and boxes! He had fun tearing into things and ripping the paper into tiny little pieces! I think his favorite part of Christmas was all the "kakoo's" he was getting! His favorite work right now is "kakoo" and it means candy or anything sweet please! :) Thursday, December 24, 2009

A visit from Avery
Can you tell I just filled Avery and Joey's sippy cups! I could hardly convince them to pull them away from their mouths and say "CHEESE" LOL!Emma and the girls came down on Sunday night and spent the night! It was so nice to get to visit with them! On Monday Emma had to leave to go to practice (she is coaching the Bickelton Girls Varsity Basketball team!) So we all decided that it would be fun for Avery to get to spend a few nights with us! We have had so much fun! She has insisted on wearing the "princess dress" every day, so it's getting a little dirty! LOL I'm going to have to sneak it off of her sometime and wash it! Because of all of the ice we have been pretty cooped up inside so they are finding very creative ways to use all that energy that 2 year old's have! Gracie and Cole didn't have school today either, so they joined in on the fun! This morning Avery and Joey wanted to dance, so we turned on some music per Avery's request and they started their dancing lesson!
Thanks Emma for letting us borrow Avery for a few days! She is so much fun! :)

Christmas Program
At Gracie's school it's the second graders who put on the Christmas Program. Gracie has been anxiously awaiting this for three years! So for the past two months Gracie and her fellow classmates have been working hard to learn these songs. I think they all did so great! Here is a condensed version video for Mimi and Nana, I know they wanted to be here!
