Spring Break

Spring break went way to fast! We were able to spend a few days with my Mom and Dad and we had a great time! Of course I forgot my camera there so I have no pictures! I can't believe how cold it was when we were there! It actually snowed on my way home on Wednesday afternoon. Crazy weather! On Wednesday night we headed to the cabin where it was snowy and wet, but it was still fun! Poor Cole was sick the whole time so pretty much looked like he does in the above picture for two days straight! Poor guy! We came home to beautiful weather and Gracie and her friend Hannah got a hold of my camera and had a little photo shoot! I know they are small, click on them and they will get a little bigger, but they were just to funny not to post! Hope you are all enjoying the spring weather like we are!

Talented Kids!

I was so impressed the kids walked into the room and all had spoons on their noses! LOL Even Joey was doing it. Well.... Joey revealed the secret! Tape! They are so funny!

Finally some sunshine!

Spring has finally arrived! Well at least for a day it did! The kids got out their bikes and I took Eli outside which he really enjoyed! John and Abby were here to play for a while and John built a jump for the kids bikes. Joey thought he would be big like the others and had to try the jump out too! It was so funny, I couldn't quit laughing! Poor Joey has had a few bad falls in the past two weeks. His forehead was looking like hamburger. He crashed on his tricycle, cried for a sec got back up and jumped back on his "bike"! Poor kid he had a goose egg and another "road rash" on his forehead to go with the two other scrapes. He is such a toughie, he cracks us up!

A little of this and a little of that!

We have had a pretty busy month so far and there were just to many things that I didn't want to get left out. So here is a little of this and a little of that! The night before Gracie's birthday Paton came to hang out with Joey and Avery while the big kids were at AWANA. They thought it would be a great idea to sit in the car seats! Just thought it was a cute picture! Sure glad I don't have to carry them around in one though! :) The next morning (Em and the girls spent the night) Em and I decided we were going to try the Barbie cake for Gracie! So our first attempt turned out great, that is until Avery and Joey (see those two innocent faces in the above picture) decided they were hungry for cake and took a big chunk out of the side! I think Ali was right when she said they have a weird connection! Attempt number two worked, and although it wasn't the most beautiful cake I had ever seen, Gracie was pretty excited about it (except that her Barbie lost two legs in the process :))
Eli got his first taste of food! I don't think he was very impressed. He was so funny trying to suck it off the spoon! It's been almost a week and he is getting a little better every night, but still prefers Mom's milk! :)

I just had to throw these in of Joey. He is such a crack up!

Cole has decided that taking toys apart fixing them and putting them back together is his favorite thing to do now! I think it's such a boy thing to do and it makes me laugh! He is so much like his Dad! :) (Don't think that toy ever got put back together, but I have a great plan for all of those Happy Meal toys now!)

Slumber Party!

Last night for Gracie's 7th Birthday she had her first Slumber Party! There were six little girls who were running around, giggling, having pillow fights and dancing to Hannah Montana music! They made their own mini cakes to decorate with the Easy Bake Oven, did manicures and watched Beverly Hills Chihuahua! Gracie even talked Mike into doing a volcano for them! I think they all had a great time! I on the other hand am ready for a nap! :)

Happy 7th Birthday Gracie!

Seven years ago today God blessed Mike and I with our first baby! Much to our surprise he gave us a beautiful baby girl! Born at 8:03 am she weighed 8#1 oz and was 20" long. I can't believe how fast the last seven years have flown by! I know the next seven will probably go even faster. I told her yesterday that I didn't want this day to end because I didn't want her to turn seven. It just seems so old to me. She told me today that even though she was seven now she would still live with us forever! :) She has grown into such a smart, beautiful, sweet little girl full of life and love! 6 months old already?

I can't believe my baby is 6 months old! Can you guess what his favorite thing to do is right now? LOL That should be fun when he starts eating solid food! :) He is such a sweet baby, full of smiles and he is growing up way way to fast! Slow down buddy!
