Missing teeth!

Why is it that it's so cute to see little kids missing teeth, but not so much when it's an adult! LOL

Well tonight was an interesting night... Mike was eating dinner and whoops, there goes his front tooth. He had his two front teeth broken off when he was little and capped. Just a few months ago, he had to have a root canal in one of them, and sure enough tonight, it broke off. I felt so bad but I couldn't look at him with out laughing. Poor guy has had so many teeth issues in the past few months. He is such a good sport and told me I could post this picture. Then Gracie who has had another wiggly tooth for a few weeks now decided she wanted it out tonight so she worked and worked and she lost one too! LOL She was so excited to show Mike and so excited that the Tooth Fairy would be leaving money for both of them tonight! I think the dentist is taking Mike's Tooth Fairy money!

"Mom, I want a pogo stick"

"I've always super wanted one for ever lasting life" that is what Cole told me this morning when I said we could go to Toys R Us with his birthday money. I had a new bike in mind because his old one is too small, but he had other things in mind. So here he is with his new toy!

Busy weekend!

Elijah loves his jumparoo so much! He just smiles and jumps and even falls asleep in it! He is so funny! When he gets woken up he just smiles and keeps on jumping! Maybe he will be able to slam dunk someday! :)

This weekend was loaded with fun! My cousins Dawn and Mo came down with their kids to spend the weekend. Em also came over every day so in total we had four adults and 13 kids! Yes it was crazy, but so much fun! We celebrated all of the Feb birthdays with cupcakes and candles! Both of Mo's kids, two of Dawn's and Joey, Avery and Cole all have birthday's in Feb!

For the boy's birthdays we got them bunk beds and bedding. I spent the evening on Monday painting a bright orange (hunter orange) stripe around their room. Cole wanted a camo bedroom so that's what he got! Gracie didn't want to miss out on the fun so they all slept in their last night. Joey's first night in a big boy bed! He did great!

Joey decided that he wanted to watch Elmo one day. He went from not watching two seconds of TV to watching an entire 20 minute video of Elmo. He cracks me up. He sits in his chair with his hands behind his head and just relaxes to Elmo, didn't know that was possible! :)

Happy Birthday Cole!

My little boy is 5 years old today! My how time flies! I can't believe the past 5 years have come and gone so quickly. Who would have known that this tiny little bundle would turn into such a sweet, spunky, wonderful little boy! I love you Cole! Happy Birthday Buddy!

Cole wanted to have his birthday party at a gymnastics place. I think it was a great choice! The enticing part for him was the sling shot bungee that only the birthday kids got to do! He shared his party with Joey and Avery (I'll post more later) and all the kids had a blast!

Worlds Best Pancakes!

For those of you who don't know, Cole loves loves loves to cook! He want to be in the kitchen for every meal helping me prepare it! Just this past week I finally gave in and let him do the pancakes! He mixed the batter up, I poured the batter on, but he flipped them and took them off the griddle when they were done! They were so yummy! He was very very proud of himself! What a big kid he is becoming. I'm hoping that his love of cooking never goes away. I wouldn't mind having a chef in my house! :)

Party!

Even though his official "party" is going to be in a few weeks with Cole and Avery, we can't let the day go by with out celebrating! So Cole and I made some cupcakes and we let him blow out his candles, which by the video you will see he needed no prompting! LOL We got him a big birthday balloon that sings when you hit it. He thought it was great and I caught him this morning singing with it! It was so funny I just wish the camera had been closer so you could really see his face! And of course, he is still hanging on to being a baby. He was caught in the exersaucer this morning too!

Happy Birthday Joey!

My sweet baby Joey! Loves to cuddle, love to make trouble! How can you get those two things in one cute kid! Seems like just yesterday we were rushing to the hospital because he wanted to enter this world and he was doing so quickly! Now two years later, he is an amazing little boy! We love you Joey, Happy Birthday!
