Summertime!

Mike and Joey enjoying the cool water

Gracie, showing her stuff

Faith and Cole taking a break by the pirate ship!

Me and my masked kids! They love their goggles!

Summer is officially here! The weather has been mild, but I'm not complaining. It was warm enough to swim, but not too hot so everyone was happy! We finally got our pool up and running. The kids have been so anxious to swim! They picked up quickly where they had left off last summer. Cole can now touch in the shallow end, which was a new experience for him! Gracie is swimming like a fish, and Joey is really enjoying getting wet! I think I'm going to love having this pool this summer especially! Being able to stay cool and float feels pretty good as my baby grows and grows!

I'm a First Grader Now!!!

Hannah, Mrs. Hepworth, Gracie and Brooklyn

"First Grade Monkey Bars"

Today was Gracie's last day of Kindergarten. It was a little bittersweet. I realized that my daughter is growing up way way to fast! She was so excited to now officially be a first grader, but a little sad that she wouldn't see her teacher everyday. When she came out of the room Mrs. Hepworth said to each kid as they were leaving, "spin around, see you later, now you are a first grader." Gracie came running over with her two "bestest friends" and said we are first
graders Mom! Before we left the school she just had to run up the hill (where Kindergartners aren't allowed) and play on the monkey bars. She came running back and said..."Wow Mom, that was awesome, it is so cool to be a first grader!" The things that thrill her! So bye bye first grade and hello summer!

Gracie's song

Gracie loves to sing and when she sings it is usually making up her own song! So the other day I told her that she should write down some of her songs because I thought they were so amazing! So she wrote down a song she had been singing all morning! I though it was pretty good! She didn't ask for any help and I was able to read the whole thing. If you can't figure it out, word that is uauy (out) I don't know why she spelled it that way, but that's what it says! So enjoy the song. I wish I had her singing it too! I hope it's dark enough for you to read.

W.O.W update!

Well, we did it! We got the garage cleaned out and have three cars parked inside! Mike pulled through! There actually wasn't much I could do, I swept! He moved big things and selling the camaro definitely helped! Here are some pictures of the finished product. Mike's car is missing, but he does park in there too!

Just having fun!

Here are some pictures of the kids outside this weekend. Cole can't get enough of his bike, Joey figured he would push his cousin Avery around in his stroller, and Gracie riding her scooter! I have to say that it should be hot enough to swim right now, but I am going to enjoy this cool great outside weather while it lasts! I hate the heat!

Today the kids were playing around with blankets and Joey crawled inside, they drug him around and carried him around then rolled him up like a burrito! He loved it! Sometimes I think being the smallest is definitely the most fun!

Stunt Man Cole Rides again!

Ever since Gracie has learned to ride her bike with out training wheels, Cole has decided that he can do it too. So off and back on again went the training wheels for a few weeks, and now they are off for good. He is so little, it is funny to see him riding that bike with no training wheels. He has no fear, so crashing wasn't a worry to him. He did that plenty of times, and just got back up and tried again until he figured it out. This was taken last Thursday, now he is crazy stunt man on the bike, saying look Mom, one hand. He is so proud of himself!

WOW

I figured I would give it a shot. My cousin Becky is hosting another Within One Week I will... I decided to join in this time. So my goal is... Within One Week I will clean out my garage and make space for three cars! We lived in Prosser for seven years in a little house with a single car garage. I was thrilled when we bought it of course because having a garage to park my car in seemed so nice! Well by the time we had lived there for one year the garage had been taken over by Mike's camaro "project"car. Ugh, I was so annoyed, but oh well. Well last year we moved into a new house with a three car garage! I thought even with the camaro I will be able to park in the garage! Well until this weekend I was, but then the camaro which was stored at a friends shop, had to come home to live with us! But hallelujah, Mike decided to sell the camaro so it sold, will be moving back out of the garage, and I should be able to clean it out, organize it a bit, and get three cars back inside! So that's my goal, clean organized garage with parking space for three cars within one week! Here is a picture of the dirty mess I have to get working on!
